Dublin Bus - Serving the entire community

New Shuttle Service set for Maiden Voyage

New Shuttle Service set for Maiden Voyage

The ‘Croke Park Experience Shuttle Bus’ takes to the streets of Dublin tomorrow morning for the first time and the new service will take tourists from the centre of Dublin’s fair city to its landmark venue.

Starting out from Trinity College, the bus will stop at each of the City Sightseeing Bus Stops - Trinity College, Suffolk Street, O Connell Street and Parnell Square - on route to GAA headquarters.

The introduction of the shuttle service is timely as the GAA continue their 125th anniversary celebrations.  The Croke Park Stadium and GAA Museum tours have become one of the capitals “must see” attractions in recent years and the new shuttle will facilitate greater numbers of visitors in getting to the venue.

“We’re delighted that our tours have continued to attract visitors from at home and overseas and we are always looking at new ways to enhance the experience. We understand that it can be difficult and costly for tourists visiting the capital to make their way around all of the attractions so the idea behind the shuttle is to make it more accessible and easier for everyone to enjoy the Croke Park Experience at their leisure.  We also hope that it will encourage Dublin natives to hop on the bus and visit the stadium outside of match days” says Mark Dorman, GAA Museum Director.

The shuttle will run throughout the summer at regular intervals each day.
