Zozzy TV comes to Temple Bar Square
Ireland will be the first country in the world to bring a concept similar to YouTube, known as ‘streetcasting’, to Dublin, when ZozzyTV broadcasts across the City Centre during the Christmas period to be viewed by over seven million people. Three large format LED screens will be erected around the city centre from November 15th at Temple Bar Square, Henry Street and Grafton Street and broadcasting will run until January 9th 2010.  

This unique interactive medium allows people to upload 30-second videos for free to www.zozzytv.com and then gather friends and family to watch their videos being broadcast live on the screens. Viewers will also be able to vote in a range of video categories. ZozzyTV is working in conjunction with the Dublin City Business Association’s Marketing Committee, as part of their Christmas campaign.
 
Using unique technology developed in Ireland, ZozzyTV will allow members of the public to send Christmas messages via a novel medium that is expected to draw big crowds during the busy shopping periods. ZozzyTV is looking forward to receiving thousands of videos including Christmas messages to loved ones, singers seeking fame, marriage proposals, dancing pets, comedic sketches and more.

Users will record a video of 30 seconds or less, upload it to the website www.zozzytv.com for approval by moderators, and then receive an email confirming the time the video will be shown at their preferred location.

Organisers  are expecting the ‘funniest, wackiest, heart warming and creative videos that only the Irish public can deliver’ so be sure to pay Temple Bar Square in the heart of Temple Bar a visit from November 15th to catch up on all of the Zozzy TV action!
