GAA Museum celebrate 125 Anniversary with day of Free Activities

Sunday 1st November marks 125 years since that historical day and the GAA Museum is inviting GAA fans of all ages to celebrate the Association’s 125th Anniversary with a day of free museum activities and tours.

Stadium tours will take place throughout the day with an added focus on the founders of the association.  There will be plenty of entertainment from Dublin Scór members, with singers and dancers.  Why not test your speed with an old fashioned hurl in the interactive area or take part in one of the Cú Chulainn warriors and hurlers workshops.

A unique Irish Tour will take place at 2.30pm with a mini trath na gceist afterwards.  And finally in keeping with the historical theme of the day, Museum visitors will have the opportunity to plan their own piece of history by adding something to the Museum’s time capsule.
